AWESOME

Ok~ I am the youngest of 5 kids (Braxton, 45 Blake 44, Deatra (died 3 days before she was born) would've been 39 and Derik 37 almost 38) and I am 27. I was closest to my 2 younger brothers Blake and Derik. They're my favorites.

Seven years ago, I lost touch with Derik. I was crushed. He was my "Gar" ~ don't know. My mom said that one day I just started calling him "Gar" and Blake "Big Gar"

Sat April 21st, 2007~ I heard from my "Gar" I cried. I was soooo happy. Hopefully we will be the bro-sis we were before.

One more test and one more writing for American History~project and a final for Abnormal Psychology and this semester will be over. Whooo. Summer semester~Intro to Computers (not many classes to chose from hehe) and World Religions. Then also taking a class (non-credit) Conversational Spanish. I am so excited to begin next semester.

I'm starting my Creative Ministries at my new church on May 6th (oh, in case I forgot to tell ya, I have joined the church I've been visiting. I'm loving it there) I am so excited to be doing all the things I'm doing there. It's an awesome church to be at.

Anyways~ Just wanted to let ya know of all the awesome news I have. It's great.

I've been kinda slack huh? I'm still here~ just trying to adjust to my new schedule hehe.

Mark's loving preschool. The kids are out of school this week, so he has no school either and it's driving him nutz hehe.

Ross has been ok. It's not as great as he's been, but it's not bad either. He did pretty well on his report card. He had an encounter with a bully last week, but he's resilient.

L is working all the time. I should be used to it by now, but by him being at another company for a year, I guess I got spoiled by how much he's was home.

Easter weekend was great. Sat. the youth sponsored an egg hunt at the church. They had games and prizes and of course the egg hunt. That afternoon my MIL came in and spent the night with us. Sun. we went to church (of course :)) Then had our own egg hunt at our house. It was so funny. We put some in very obvious places and the girls would stand beside them saying they couldn't find anymore. They were too busy trying to find the "hard-to-find" eggs that they didn't see them right in front of them hehe.

Emily's been staying with us for this week. It's been fun having her around.

We have to take Mark and Ross to the urologist today. It's time for them to check on his one kidney and make sure the other one is completely gone. Hopefully everything is how it's supposed to be by now. Ross is having a check-up to make sure he does't have an urinary infection.

This weekend also showed me how times have changed! Ashley was wearing some jelly bracelets. I don't know if ya'll have heard of this or not, but they are called "sex bracelets" now. Each color represents what the wearer will do. Sheesh~~ when I was in school, they were just bracelets. I went online to find out what the colors meant. Let's just say about half of her bracelets had to come off. Then me and my BF sat down with her had had a long conversation about "things". So much stuff she has heard and when I was her age, I didn't hear of til years later. Please pray that she will be open with me and not go out to "try" things to figure them out. I feel as tho I've made her feel comfortable to come talk to me, but you never know.

I also finally shooed some Jehovah Witnesses off. There was one lady who kept coming and seeing me for about 6 months now, but I never felt as tho I had the ammo to tell them I didn't believe in what they believed in. I honestly don't know everything that they believe. Well, they came by Sat and was talking to me and I was doing my normal "smile and nod and zone out". Then she handed me the magazine like normal. I always go back in the house and throw them away immediately. Well, she asked me if I enjoyed reading their magazine. I told her "I honestly don't read it." She said "Really?!" I said "Nope. I don't believe what ya'll believe" She said "Well, just read it and see if you do or not" I said "Nope. I KNOW I don't" She said "Oh. Well, if you don't read it (I hand the magazine back to her) Thank you for being honest" Her and the other lady got back into their car and left. I thank God I could do that. I know I should know how to talk to them, but that's something I need to work on.

Well sorry for the novel hehe.

Write ya later.
