Sooo busy!!!!

Wow. I'm not used to going, going, going. hehe.

Monday~ Actually not much :)
Tuesday~ Went and got info on getting Mark into preschool. Ross had soccer. Girls stay with us.
Wednesday~Took all 4 kids to school. Mark starts preschool. Go to church. Girls stay again.
Today~Take girls to school and Mark to preschool. Babysit my niece.
Tomorrow~Take Mark to preschool. Get things together for a meeting at Ross' school on Mon. Go bowling.
Sat.~ROG practice; take all 3 kids with me (L has to work)
Sun.~ Youth Sunday (Ash does children's sermon, I help children's choir)

I haven't been on the go like this before. I usually get to stay up late, sleep in a bit, and do household chores when I want. Now I have to schedule them in hehe.

As you saw above, Mark started preschool. AWWW I almost cried hehe. They are super nice (and super cheap hehe) So much for the the kids to do there. I love his teacher. She said he's still adjusting (since this is the first time in his life he hasn't been with me everyday). I figure he's gonna be adjusting for a long time hehe.

Ross has been doing AWESOME! I love it. Plus, his school is pushing all the paperwork thru to get him tested for help at school. It's great. Instead of waiting the 4-6 weeks, they are getting started ASAP.

Soccer with Ross has been fun. I'm now an asst. coach on his team, so he don't have to wait an hour before his practice. I'll post soccer pictures next week. Emily thought she was taking pictures...well, she wasn't. She didn't push the button down all the way hehe.

Now with Mark in preschool, I can go to school in the mornings and get more classes that way. Great! The night classes they offer, I've taken all I can (unless they finally offer something new this next semester hehe) I have my mid-term for abnormal psychology tonight. I hope I do well.

Hope everyone is doing great.

Great News!

Well, we had Ross' MRI done today. He did great. I was so proud of him.

Soccer went great last night. They messed up with the scheduling, so Ross had to wait an hour while I coached a team, and then had his practice. He did so well. Now, if I had tried to do that when he was on his other meds.....forget it. I love this new medicine he's on. I have my little boy back. I missed him.

He did a drill where they tap the top of the ball with the toes of their feet. Ross accidentally tried to stand on it and *flip*, he falls on his butt. The coach comes over worried and asks if he's ok and Ross says "Yeah, that felt good" hehe. Later, as they play some soccer, Ross falls. The coach comes over and says "Did that feel good?" Ross~"No." and looks at him like he's crazy for thinking that. hehe

I forgot to take my camera to practice, but I'll remember next time. He looked so cute.

Thanks for all the prayers for us. I have felt them.

Good news....bad news

Well, we saw a new neurologist on Fri. We are happy with him. He told us that the last 2 medicines that Ross was prescribed.......he shouldn't have had, due to the kind of seizures he has. So the doc gave us a new medicine and he started it that night. So far so good. This doc is actually listening to us. Praise God!

Ross' MRI is rescheduled for Wed. morn. at 7:30am.

We had 2 b-day parties on Sat. Ashley had one from 2-5, then Emily had a sleepover. It actually wasn't as bad as I thought it was gonna be. hehe

I start coaching soccer tomorrow night. I can't wait. I still haven't heard when Ross is supposed to start and that's aggravating me. I've called a couple of people and they don't know, so I'm gonna call around some more UGGG hehe

And the bad news.....Sat afternoon, our a/c and heat quit working. The afternoons aren't too bad, cuz we have a good wind going on, but the mornings are COLD. I just got off the phone with an a/c place and they are sending someone out between 11 and 1. I was happy someone could come today. I was worried about that.

Another post

I know I know...ANOTHER one? hehe

Anyways, we are going to another neurologist tomorrow. I'm praying this one can help us more. He is the one that told Ross' step-mom that Ross shouldn't have even been given this last medicine, that it was bad for him.

Plus, we are to meet with an exceptional program lady. To try and get Ross some help NOW. Oh~ I just realized, I haven't told ya what happened yesterday.

I'll TRY and not make it too long :)

I get a call from Ross' PE teacher that he has hit her and began running around the gym and I needed to come get him. I get there and he is ANGRY. He won't talk to me. I tell him "Fine, get your coat on and let's go" Nope, he wouldn't do it. I put one arm in, he'd take the other arm out. Finally I get his coat on. Then he won't get up. Finally he does. We go to the door of the school and he stops, turns, and starts running down the hallway. I catch him and we start to go back out. We get one foot out the door and he drops his book bag and takes off! I look at Mark, tell him to go inside to the office and tell them mommy needs help, and I take off after Ross. He gets halfway across the parking lot (it's a big parking lot) and I'm afraid he's heading toward the busy road. He then turns a sharp left and starts running thru the school yard. I finally get him (I need to get in shape). Then I take him to the SUV and he don't want to get in. I get him in and he doesn't want to buckle. I get him buckled and the Asst. Principle asks me if I'll be ok. I tell her yeah. Get home~he don't want to get out. I had to literally drag him out. We get inside and he goes to his room. I call his step-mom and I tell her what happened. By this time, Ross has calmed down enough to tell us what was wrong. The rest of the day.......he was GREAT. He didn't talk back, did what I told him to, and was wonderful.

Ross, when he is told to do an assignment, HAS to do the whole thing at one time. He can't stop and pick it back up later. Well, his teacher had given an assignment and then realized they had to go to PE and had to stop doing the work. So he was already really upset with that. When they got in PE, he just got more agitated when the teacher wanted him to "be an elephant". At this time (if they'd listen to what we have TOLD them) they should have let him sit by himself and cool off, but they don't listen and that's where we found ourselves yesterday.

So how was your day? hehehe Just a glimpse into another day in our household. Just pray that we can get help...SOON.

I finally remembered to do my M&M. hehe

Day at the park

Here's some pics from the park

He wanted to sit and "take a rest for a lil while" hehe

This is a duck that Ross called "Grandma duck"

This duck (below) kept following us around and hissing at us. I have a fear of hissing ducks/geese. I got bit by one on a field trip in school and ever since then, I can't stand to be around hissing ones. I was walking everywhere to get away from this one, but couldn't hehe

ERGGGG Doctors!!

Well, Ross didn't have his MRI today. The doctor didn't order it to be done with sedation. Did she REALLY think that a 6 yr old could hold still thru the whole thing? Considering she knew what they had to do for the last one (plus the EEG), you'd THINK she knew that he had to have something. So, it's going to be rescheduled.

We went to the park instead. I'll post pic later :)

Thanks for the prayers

Another Mark saying :)

I shouldn't laugh, but this was soo funny.

Mark was standing next to the sofa and was sticking his belly out. I poked at it and said "Someone's getting a belly"

Mark smiled and said "I'm gonna get a big belly" (At this point, I knew what was coming next)

"Daddy, I'm gonna get a big belly.....just like you"

He's on a kick now where he's gonna be everything like his daddy "I'm gonna be tall like my daddy" "I'm gonna be strong like my daddy" So that's why I knew what was coming. I started laughing so hard, which was a bad idea considering I had tea in my mouth at the time.

You just never know with kids :)

More pics :)

February flew by so FAST! My dad's b-day is March 1st and I almost called him a day late. I thought I had one more day of February so I wasn't worried about it. Then I started arguing with myself (I do that often hehe) about whether it was still February or now March and finally figured out it was March. I called him and told him he should be glad I looked at the calendar or he would've had to wait another day for my call. hehe

Mark at the mall riding on the truck. Every time we go there, we HAVE to ride something! hehe

The bird Mark made at church. It's wings are a coffee filter.

Mark holding his bird. He loved it. I say loved cuz he messed it up playing with it so much hehe

Sat., we went to a bowling tournament. This is Mark on the way.

After the bowling alley, we went to Pizza Hut to eat. I had dropped my purse on the floor (of course, dumping EVERYTHING out), so as I'm cleaning everything up, L put my hat on. While I was under the table, I got my camera out and then quickly took this pic. :) He got miffed for a bit, but he got over it :)I'm sneaky hehe

I bowled in a tournament Sat. morning. I did good! I was so happy. Sat. was a VERY busy day. I bowled from 12:30-2 then L bowled from 5-about 7:30.

I made a 95 on my history test. No school this week YEAH!, but L will probably have to work :(.

The girls are having their B-day parties at our house this weekend. Ashley's having a boy-girl party from 2-5 then Emily is having a slumber party that night. BUSY BUSY! None of the kids have called tho to say they are coming, so I hope everything works out.

Ross is having his MRI Tues. Please remember us during that time. It's at 12:30.

My new favorite romantic movie! I love this move. I got it about a few weeks ago and just got to watch it on Saturday. If you haven't seen it, do!

I'm also reading a book called The Debt. It's good. It's so true in today's world about how we Christians sometimes close ourselves up into the church and forget about the people out in the world that need to see God's love.

Mark has been sooooo hard to get to sleep lately. Thursday and Friday, it was after midnight. Sat., after 2am and tonight it was after 11. He just can't get settled down. I don't even know how he has the energy the next day, cuz he gets up around 7 (a couple of days, he got up before L got up for work and the alarm goes off at 6:41).

Soccer starts next week. I'm excited. Can't wait. Don't know what to expect, since I know diddly squat about soccer, but I know it's where I'm supposed to be. I know I wouldn't have been lead there if I wasn't supposed to be there for a reason.

My mom is applying for a job with a hospice. She's also looking into working with a pregnancy crisis center. Just a huge difference for me. My mom got hurt when I was 2, so she hasn't worked since. It's odd to me to think of my mom as working hehe. Also, the different jobs are on each end of the spectrum. One's helping with the beginning of life, the other, the end.

Well I guess that's it.
